Project: Terrace Enclosure

This project was carried out in Wilda, Poznań, by WST GROUP. It involved the construction of a sunshade enclosure for a terrace. The enclosure was custom-made according to the architect’s design. The installation process consisted of enclosing the space between a SUNTECH pergola and a vertical wooden wall. Adjustable aluminum louvers were mounted on the structure to regulate the amount of incoming light on the balcony. This solution allows users to comfortably control the amount of sunlight.
The entire terrace enclosure was crafted from aluminum with a cross-section of 80 mm x 80 mm and a wall thickness of 3 mm. The robust profile ensures not only structural stability but also durability for years to come. The entire enclosure, including the adjustable aluminum panels, was coated with a powder coating in a fine sand-textured matte black RAL 9005 color, giving the structure an exceptional appearance.
The sunshade was installed using special adapters for the pergola and wall elevation. It was custom-made to fit the space between the pergola and the wall, with dimensions of 185 cm in length and 162 cm in depth, without the need for additional supporting columns. Such constructions provide protection from the sun and partial protection from rain while creating a comfortable space on the balcony for relaxation and spending time outdoors.
